The eyedropper opens as soon as you cast it. Click any pixel on screen to copy its color. The card that appears shows hex, RGB, and HSL; click one to copy it, or Pick again to sample another.
Needs Chrome or Edge, on an https page.
Good to know
Hue uses the browser's built-in color picker, which Chrome and Edge support but Firefox and Safari don't yet.
Browsers also keep it off pages served over plain http, like an older site or a device on your network. That's the page rather than your browser: anything on https works, and so does localhost.
